Work often takes place at variable heights, angles and on different surfaces. Choose the most stable, flexible and durable combination for your essential tasks. Versatility is important where seating is shared by different workers in multi-shift operations.

What accessories?
Apart from the chair accessories listed herein, Industry Chairs also has separate related web sites through our parent company Uplifting Solutions that offer height adjustable workstations and a specialist range of monitor arms to complement your workplace seating.
What range of movement?
All Industry Chairs are height adjustable. Others feature tilt adjustment of the seat pan, especially for forward leaning sit-stand applications. Where forward leaning requires support for fine control (ie dentistry, jewellery making), we recommend the support of the HAG Capisco in reverse position.
What floor surface?
The right base for a chair is essential. Normal rolling castors are suitable for carpet. Soft (brake unloaded) castors are ideal for hard floors, allowing the chair to remain stable until a person sits on it; they can then roll the chair. Glides (fixed feet) are recommended where no movement is desired. Other options include brake loaded castors (movement with no weight, locked on sitting) and ESD anti static castors.
What weight?
Our chairs and stools range in weight carrying capability from 120 kg to 220kg. Most chairs are weight rated to 120 kg. For larger users, the Arnie will cater for 130 kg, the Atlas 150 kg, the Maxima 160 kg, and the Triton a massive 220 kg user weight. We also carry a specialist range for more petite users - call us for details.
How much cleaning?
Cleaning requirements can vary widely. Depending on your application, we can advise the most suitable materials. Our polyurethane skinned chairs may be cleaned with ethanol. Medical grade vinyl upholstery is also available for work environments where liquids are handled.
