Jobri Active-Balance Stool
New for 2009! The Jobri Active-Balance stool has been years in development and is based on the principles of dynamic seating.
The Adjustable Dynamic Joint (ADJ) used in the Jobri seat is a dynamic solution to a static problem. The ability of the ADJ to continuously redistribute stress across muscles and ligaments provides a revolutionary way to reduce the harmful effects of prolonged sitting.
The patented ADJ joint provides flexible movement in 360 degrees, allows users to exercise core muscles with natural movement, in a wide range of environments, including the home, as well as the workplace. The Active-Balance stool allows task that demand flexibility and movement to be carried out more comfortably and efficiently.
Stool Use and Recommendations
The range of movement is controlled by tightening or loosening the carriage bolt assembly, with no weight bearing on the seat pan. Tightening compresses the rubber discs and the range of movement becomes more limited, and vice versa. Three locking castors enable users to stop the seat from moving.
Initially set the chair to a small range of motion by tightening the disc system; then gradually add movement to meet your comfort level.
