Castors and Glides
Glides are generally fitted to industrial stools. Glides provide a stable platform, but still enable operators to easily move their chair (50mm diameter base, 38mm diameter barrel and 34mm high.Soft castors are designed for use on hard floors. They roll freely when the user is seated, but when the chair is unoccupied or weight is removed, they provide a tension or friction brake to inhibit rolling.
The soft castor has a 50mm diameter wheel with a soft PU tyre and a 42mm diameter barrel.
Both glides and soft castors can be fitted to almost all ranges of industrial chairs. Brake locked and brake unlocked castors are also available.
Anti-static options
ESD (Electro Static Discharge) castors from Germany: special castors made of non-conductive materials to dissipate static electricity.May be fitted to a variety of chairs and will fit standard furniture five star base.

The earth-ball is a special stainless steel ball attached to the chair base that earths the whole chair.

Platform size is 460mm x 310mm, raked at an angle of 12.5 degrees. Height is adjusted by spacer blocks, three sets of which are supplied as standard with each footrest and held in place by a recessed butterfly screw.Height of basic unit with a single set of spacer blocks is 36mm at front & 105mm at rear. Each additional set of blocks adds 17.5mm to the height. Spacer blocks may also be purchased separately.
